Statewide
Provide continuing support for Building a Healthy Future for Young Women in Montana project to promote legislative and administrative approaches to comprehensive sex education. $8,000
Montana Credit Unions for Community Development
Statewide
Provide continued operating assistance to support current financial education programs, such as Montana Students Save, Rural Montana Saves, Youth Experiencing Security and Success, and payday loan alternatives, individual development accounts, and volunteer income tax assistance. $5,000

Planned Parenthood of Montana
Statewide

Provide support to meet the increased demand for family planning services in the current economic crisis and to expand education and outreach efforts to teens and women, and to address the problem of pharmacists refusing to fill birth control prescriptions $5,000

Montana Women Vote
Billings, Missoula, Bozeman, Helena, and Great Falls

Provide operating assistance to support voter education and mobilization, leadership development and policy advocacy efforts. $5,000
GUTS! YWCA Missoula

Continued support for Girls Using Their Strengths (GUTS!) Girls Leadership Project, a Missoula-based leadership and empowerment project designed by and for young women ages 9-18 to encourage young women to explore their personal values and discover their strengths $5,000

To support the Bridges to Learning Project, a vocational and educational preparation and support program for pregnant or parenting young women who are at risk for dropping out of high school, have already dropped out or are academically disadvantaged. $5,000
