Our Women, Our State

The Women’s Foundation of Montana is the leading funder of change for women and girls in our state.  We are raising money to build an endowment to provide a permanent source of grants to invest in economic self-sufficiency for women and brighter futures for girls.  We believe that when women and girls prosper, communities thrive.

The Women’s Foundation of Montana is an endowed fund of the Montana Community Foundation, which provides professional management of our assets and professional staff to run our grant programs. This strong partnership has made our rapid growth possible.

This year, the Women's Foundation is supporting , "an experiential training for women interested in developing inner resources and practical skills to fuel significant progressive change in the world." Click here or visit their website for more information and application instructions.

OUR CHALLENGES

Statistics indicate that Montana ranks among the bottom states for both per capita income and wages.

The earnings of Montana women are the lowest in the nation.

Overcoming these barriers and empowering women and girls to realize their potential is our challenge and our commitment.
