Do you want to improve your credit score, increase your savings and learn to provide security for you and your family?
The $AFE (Securing Access to Financial Education) Program is an innovative program created for women in financial crisis to assist them in accessing a small line of credit, learning how to manage money, building good credit, and increasing savings through a matched savings account.
Who can participate?
In order to qualify for the $AFE Loan Program you must be a woman who is a Gallatin County Resident who has experienced a recent financial crisis related to:
- Job Loss
- Medical Costs
- Change in Family Status
- Disaster (fire, theft, accident, etc.)
What are the benefits?
Participants in the $AFE Program have access to:
- Financial literacy training to learn how to better manage money.
- A matched savings account in which every dollar you save is matched 1 to 1 up to $250, providing $500 savings to be used to manage future emergencies.
- A $300 line of credit to be used to stabilize financial crisis and build good credit.
